1) Move & Groove:
In-person movement & music program for kids ages 3-5 at the Beaconsfield Recreation Center
Saturdays at 11:30am-12:15pm
This program is great for kids to:

When school and sport activities moved online due to Covid, Rylan did not handle it well. He has always been a social butterfly but online he clammed up and became extremely anxious. Many tears were shed!!! I don’t know what sort of magic you have Lara, but watching Rylan in Kids Corner he is back to his pre-Covid self! He is always excited to talk about the sessions and I love hearing him scream “I am strong” at the top of his lungs. I actually caught him trying to teach his younger sister the self-esteem chants the other day! ! Thank you!!!!!

About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Lara. I'm 32 years old and live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I'm a Special Education Teacher with over 10 years of experience with kids and teens with special needs. I recently left my classroom teaching position to pursue my true passion and calling. I now work as a coach to help support kids with Autism and their families. I've always been a big believer in play-based learning and social-emotional learning. I have created a program for kids ages 5-10 that focuses on that. Kids Corner has been my baby for the past couple of months. I can't wait to see what it turns into, and all the kids I will meet and have an impact on along the way. I am also an avid fitness enthusiast, and enjoy dancing and doing HIIT-style workouts.
